Receita (I) - Quesadilla Salvadoreño
> 1 xícara de farinha
> 1 xícara de açúcar
> 1 xícara de creme azedo (coalhada)
> 4 oz [115 g] de queijo parmesão ralado
> 3 ovos
> 1 bastão de manteiga
> 1 colher de chá de fermento em pó
> Sementes de sésamo
Preparo;
Misture a manteiga e o açúcar até ficar cremoso. Adicione os ovos e bata em um de cada vez. Em outra tigela, peneire a farinha e o fermento. Adicionar a mistura de açúcar pouco a pouco.
Adicione o creme azedo e queijo parmesão, misturando bem. Unte o prato de cozimento com manteiga. Coloque a mistura uniformemente no prato. Polvilhe com sementes de gergelim.
*Asse em forno pré-aquecido a 350 ° F [175 º C] por 40 a 60 minutos

All-purpose flour -- 2 cups
Baking powder -- 2 teaspoons
Grated queso fresco or Parmesan cheese -- 1/2 pound
Sugar -- 2 cups
Eggs, beaten lightly -- 4
Whole milk -- 1 cup
Butter, melted -- 2 sticks (1/2 pound)
Sesame seeds (optional) -- 2 tablespoon
Method;
1- Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift the flour and baking powder together into a bowl. Add the cheese, sugar, eggs and milk to a large bowl and beat until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
2- Slowly stir the flour mixture into the cheese mixture until fully incorporated and a smooth batter is formed. Pour the batter into two well greased loaf pans, filling them only halfway. If using, sprinkle sesame seeds over the top of the batter.
3- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Set on racks and allow to come to room temperature before slicing and serving.
